City walks, walks to school or work, or just traveling from point A to point B. Whatever it may be, most of the time we will need some storage space where we can store our things. We can carry it in plastic bags, but those will not last much. This would also require one hand carry which is not really good for our back. Unlike nature, we do not have to count on a lack of resources in the city. As we can see, the urban backpacks trying to find their use as school bag or civilian backpack for commercial use. And what about design ?
Rather wider
Unlike other backpacks, there is no such emphasis on distribution of the load. That is why these backpacks can be wider and deeper opposite to design of standard outdoor backpacks. This allows better organization. But do not think that such a backpack does not deserve a quality carrying system. Although we will wear it mainly around the city, we always have to watch out for our back. Especially when used as a school backpack. The back must not suffer. This should be ensured by padding, ventilation and above all by carrying system consisting of hip belt, chest strap and mainly two adjustable padded shoulder straps. Do not forget them whenever we expect to carry heavier loads. That is same for all the backpacks.
In the end it is not that difficult
Before each purchase, we have to think about something. When we are purchasing urban backpack, we should forget about the features of backpack for outdoor and rather focus on organization of the urban backpack. The organization will help a lot - inside we will carry everything we need, including wallet, notebook, keys, etc. Given the size of this backpack, also pay attention to the carrying system which is important for our back. Material is important too. Pay attention to the prevention from mechanical damage as well as to protection from the rain. One of the best options is once again nylon and its modification (polyester can also be used). Good urban backpack will be then appreciated on our way to work, to school, but also during each city walk.
