In 2001, Dwight Aspinwall and Perry Dowst decided to do something about the cumbersome cookers and accessories, that were on the market at the time. They focused mainly on outdoor lovers and bushcrafters, for whom they founded the JETBOIL® company. They developed a comprehensive solution called Jetboil Personal Cooking System, which was awarded in 2004 by Backpacker magazine.
