Oakley® was founded in 1975 in the USA, meaning that is almost 50 years on the market. The main focus is eyewear, but also another equipment for both professionals as well as civilians. During its existence Oakley® got over 600 patents, mostly for the eyewear. Since the 80´s of last century Oakley® cooperates with U.S. Army on the development of equipment for their soldiers to increase comfort and safety. Nowdays Oakley® are part of italian EssilorLuxottica.
