The Wiley X
Tide shooting glasses combine a
low-profile design with excellent optical and safety properties. The frame
is extremely flexible, equipped with removal Facial Cavity Seal to keep you
protected from the wind, dust and unpleasant side-light.
Maximum protection
The glasses are
constructed to protect your sight not
only from harmful radiation, but from
mechanical damage as well. They are thoroughly tested in accordance with
the ANSI and EN 166 standards. In one of the tests, they need to endure an
impact of a 6mm 86g steel ball,
shot at 162 km/h velocity. The lens must stay intact and set firmly in an
undamaged frame of the glasses. The space between your face and the glasses
frame can be reliably sealed off using the supplied
Cavity Seal to protect your face from dust and adverse weather conditions.
Grey smoke lenses feature
a great durability offering 12% to
14% light transmittance depending on the type of frame used and filter
out 100 % of UV radiation. They reduce to eliminate glaring reflections and do
not distort colours. This makes them ideal for bright to dazzling light
conditions. Smoke lenses are suitable
for the beach and practically any outdoor activities.
