BDU shorts have a completely new modern design and shapely leggings.

BDU = Battle Dress Uniform - shorts are part of a field combat uniform.
In heavily stretched places, BDU shorts have triple stitched seams and a reinforced wedge in the crotch.
BDU shorts The Pentagon has 2 side pockets with an open diagonal entrance for quick use of stored items or on the hand, 2 large storage pockets on the thighs covered by the lapel and 2 back pockets covered by the lapel.

The hand pocket has a reinforced entry hem for greater resistance.
BDU Pentagon shorts have a zipper on a good brass self-closing YKK^® zipper covered by a band, on 1 inner button and on 1 patent quality Prym^®.

BDU Pentagon shorts are treated with Teflon^® surface layer, so they hold heat well, are partially waterproof and are better able to withstand pollution.
