The Eberlestock Kite is an ultra-light minimalistic hunters' pack with roll top . It does not possess any needless features, its design is pretty straightforward and purposeful , which makes it a great pack for everyday use. Due to its size, it is suitable for one or two-day hunts.
Extreme material for extreme use
The pack is made of a blend of Aramid and Kevlar fabrics . The resulting material is extremely light weight and extremely durable . The bottom of the pack is made from abrasion-resistant 500D Cordura .
Dual access to main compartment
The Kite features two entries to the main compartment. The first is the standard top loading . Instead of the classic top lid, the pack features a roll-top sleeve to prevent the content from getting wet or dirty, moreover the sleeve can be expanded to get some extra stowage space. The rolling sleeve is secured with two plastic buckles on the sides and features three rows of reduced MOLLE direct access to the main compartment using a two-way waterproof zip with over-sized pulls on the front. When closed, the zips are secured with velcro to prevent their spontaneous opening.
Enough space
The main compartment is spacious yet minimalistic . Inside, there are no other sub-compartments except for two sleeves to stash your hydration bladders . On each side of the pack are three loops for the attachment of a laser-cut auxiliary panel . The main functional feature inside the compartment is its back side made of nylex, which is a counterpart to velcro , to attach pouches based on your preferences. On both sides you find standard open pockets for water bottles and alongside the main zip are three loops to attach the MOLLE auxiliary pane l, just like those inside the pack.
Elaborate back system
Just like all other Eberlestock backpacks, the Kite is also equipped with quality shoulder straps , which are sufficiently padded yet breathable due to the used 3D mesh material. In addition to that, the shoulder straps may be compressed using stabilization straps so as to adjust the distribution of weight and pressure on the shoulders. A big plus of the back system is its individual adjustability based on the height of the user. The back padding is simply massive and the central channel leaves enough room for the air to circulate around the spine. The pack fits comfortably even during long hikes. On the shoulder straps are several additional loops for the attachment of additional gear to include a loop for the hydration bladder tube . At the top you find a massive carrying handle. An elastic sternum strap adjustable in height will help you better distribute the carried load. On the waist belt are two rows of MOLLE compatible webbingundo the velcro in the back panel and remove it .
Modularity Eberlestock way
If you need to fix the pack to either the "F1 Mainframe or M1 Carrier Frame" systems, the entire back system can be detached and re-attached using an additional Hookup Kit. The pack is equipped with a polycarbonate Gossamer frame which will adjust to your back. This makes the pack sit nicely on your back and will not get uncomfortable even when worn for longer periods of time.
