ANV® Wharncliffe M06 claw / knife

The Wharncliffe M06 knife or claw is another of a number of quality products from the Czech knife manufacturer ANV (Acta Non Verba), which makes no compromises with its range. This model is designed to be worn mainly in the non-dominant hand. It is a small but serious tool that is equipped with an effective, functional blade.

Robust yet lightweight

When developing this knife/claw, the designers made sure that it was light enough while maintaining a robust blade with a thickness of 6 mm and a length of approx. 45 mm. They achieved this by using an asymmetric skeleton-type construction. Regarding the overall grip, however, the construction of the tool is evenly distributed in order to get rid of the classic problems associated with push knives (instability upon impact or slipping).

Suitable for both right-handed and left-handed people

The hole in the handle in the shape of a hexagon is perfect for grasping with the middle finger, which means, among other things, that this knife is suitable for holding in either the right or left hand. This solution increases grip comfort even when removing the claw from its sheath while wearing gloves. The claw frame is equipped with an extended part that is used to lock the ring finger and little finger around the claw frame. The M06 claw is compact and low-profile, making it possible to combine it with almost any modular system.

Clever solution

In this position, the index finger is located on the shorter part of the claw frame and the overall grip is thus securely locked. Once you release the index finger, you can use the hand with the claw for other activities, even if the claw is still partially suspended in it (on the middle finger). The claw thus forms a compact whole after locking the palm, and with alternative grips you can use the claw in different ways.

Various methods of carrying

The ANV Wharncliffe M06 claw can be carried in a variety of ways, including carrying it on a belt using the DCC monoblock clip. However, alternative variants such as Slime Line ulticlip or MOLLE clip are also available. So you can wear the claw in a horizontal position or combine it with tactical vests or combat belts. Hollow rivets and housing holes allow for multiple angled connections with varying rivet and mounting hole center distances.
