ANV, or Acta Non Verba, is a Czech knife manufacturer that does not like to compromise on its products. This also applies to the M25 model, a knife with a fixed blade. This model belongs to the Military series and was developed in cooperation with members of the 25th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment in Strakonice. Hence the number in the name.
A perfectly crafted blade New owners of the ANV M25 knife will appreciate its perfectly processed blade, which is cryo-hardened from Sleipner steel to a hardness of 60 HRC and is additionally treated with a DLC (diamond-like carbon) carbon layer on the surface. This gives you a high-performance, lightweight blade with a smooth cut.
Precision handle However, just as important as the blade is the handle of the knife, which in this case is carefully and precisely milled from micarta material. The handle shanks are connected by stainless steel screws and massive threaded bushings.
Full tang construction The drop point blade has a full tang construction and, in addition to higher strength, this brings with it another peculiarity, namely notches on the blade in the area of the handle (between the shanks). These milled notches act as an emergency gauge because they are on the exact scale of the 1:25,000 map. They show the position after 200 meters to 1 km and then up to 5 km.
Practical accessories The practical accessories of this knife include the RBS racket locking tool at the end of the handle, which can also be used as a beer opener. The recess for the index finger or choil of the blade is equipped with a ground edge. This allows the use of flint for making fire. The knife is also equipped with a versatile self-locking kydex sheath. You can hang it anywhere you need.
