The brake effectively alters the flow of gases escaping from the barrel after firing, thus compensating the recoil and eliminating unwanted weapon stroke.
The brake is made of strong steel, which is supplemented by a sand-blasted and blackened coating. This makes sure that the brake can withstand difficult battle conditions and frequent stress. The muzzle brake is very light-weight, thanks to the aircraft grade material used, so it won't unnecessarily increase the overall weight of the weapon.
