Part of the proceeds will be donated

Colt CZ Group will donate portion of the proceeds from the NFT auction and the bid top-ups to the collection account of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Czech Republic for support of the Ukrainian Army. The very first pistol of this limited edition (number 1/100) will be auctioned off in a special online auction by the Artslimit auction portal of the Kodl Gallery, which successfuly sold limited edition of CZ 75 in 2019. The proceeds of this auction went for charitable purposes.

The auction will be held over the course of two weeks, from December 5 and finishing December 18 and the proceeds will be donated to the Endowment Fund of the President of the Czech Republic, Miloš Zeman, which supports the activities of non-sate institutions providing temporary family care for children. The auctioned pistol CZ 75 „Order of the White Lion“ will be personally presented to its new owner by president of the Czech Republic Miloš Zeman in a special ceremony at the Prague Castle.

Work of art

Unlike the standard CZ 75 model, the „Order of the White Lion“ is decorated by the Czech national symbols, specifically linden tree branch and two-tailed lion. Many details are gold-plated – namely controls, extractor and grip screws. Crowned, two tailed lion from 14k gold (Czech hallmark) is set into the right-hand side of the frame.

Just like the pistol itself, the case is also work af art. The case is made from three types of wood. The main wood, just like the pistol grips, is Czech maple, luxurious birch root has been used for sides and the lid is made of walnut. The interior of this case is lined with plush, red microfiber, close to the color of the Order of the White Lion star.

The lid is supported by two tricolor ribbons and features an original certificate from the Office of the President of the Czech Republic, signed by president Miloš Zeman, dated 28 October 2022. The outside of the lid features relief that depicts the Order of the White Lion.

Order of the White Lion for true greats

The badge is considered to be one of the most beautiful in the world. It is five-sided, red enameled star, with all classes joined together by linden tree leaves. The center of the star features two-tailed lion with golden crown and golden armor. Among the Order of the White Lion recipients are for example Václav Havel, Sir Nicholas Winton, Nikola Tesla or Jan Antonín Baťa.
