The surface of the boot is made of a 1.4 mm to 1.6 mm thick hydrophobic split leather combined with fabric . This ensures the maximum durability in harsh conditions. You will definitely appreciate the lacing comprising fabric eyelets and closed metal hooks, which facilitate quick tying; the boots are also suitable for airborne operations (paracord won't get caught in closed eyelets).
