U.S. NAVY KA-BAR® is a legendary Knife of American National Infantry, whose tradition goes back to 1941. It has a characteristic blackened blade and handle made of leather.
Long tradition KA-BAR U.S. NAVY is probably the most common knife of its kind on which the survival of many soldiers in World War II once depended. The production of this famous knife continues to this day. It is exactly the same as the first version made by KA-BAR in 1941. Today it is a popular knife for bushcrafters and lovers of survival activities.
Durable construction It is made of high-quality carbon steel 1095 with black anti-reflective coating. The blade is plain around its entire length and is easy to grind. Firm and comfortable grip is ensured by leather handle. In the front part of the handle you will find a finger guard.
Comfortable wear It comes with a cowhide leather sheath that has US NAVY Eagle Crest logo. You can then wear it as a neck knife or attached it to a belt for example.
The origin of the legend Legendary knives usually have a quality that surpasses other products. This also applies to KA-BAR knives. The company, founded in New York in 1897, originally produced mainly cutlery. A little later, they started producing hunting knives, which were still sold under the Union brand. At that time, a story began to float around the people about the trapper who killed a bear only with the brand's knife. And so the term Ka-bar was born, which is a corruption of the English "kill a bear".
