Eberlestock® EDC Bandit hydration pack

The Eberlestock EDC Bandit is a great pack for one or two day trips into the wild as well as short-term military operations. If you are not military or do not venture into the wild as much, you can still use it as your EDC pack in your daily life. Due to its low weight it is a really handy and practical pack.

Large enough EDC pack

Wherever you want to go, with Bandit you do not need to worry about having lack of space when packing all your equipment. If you reach its limit, on the pack is a large laser-cut webbing panel and some more reduced MOLLE compatible webbing placed over the entire pack including its bottom, where you can attach even more pockets, pouches and other essential equipment and gear. Between the flap and the pack's lid, you can stash your jacket, sleeping mat or sleeping bag, soldiers will definitely appreciate a space to stash their helmet. Above the flap is a velcro panel for a tag, flag or your favourite patch.

Organized load space

The top of the pack's lid features a flat yet relatively spacious pocket for immediate access to some of your equipment. Inside the pocket is a small organizer and a zipped pocket. On the sides of the pack are two elastic pockets for water bottles. The pack's main compartment opens with a two-way zip. Pull down quickly to open the entire pack easily. Zips are massive with over-sized pulls for easier manipulation in gloves. The sides as well as the bottom of the fold-out lid are reinforced so that the pack holds its shape.

Takes care of both your equipment and hydration

In the main compartment there are several interesting features. The first of them is a designated space for your hydration pack of up to 3l with a hanging loop to keep the pack in place even when it is empty. Another interesting feature is the microfleece fold-out panel, where you can put your pouches and organizers via velcro on their backs. On the sides of the internal pockets, altogether there are three sub-compartments to organize your gear – one deep, one shallow and a third one divided into three sections.

Quality shoulder straps with elaborate details

Just like all other Eberlestock backpacks, the Bandit is also equipped with quality shoulder straps, which are sufficiently padded yet breathable due to the used 3D mesh material. Additionally, the shoulder straps may be compressed using stabilization straps so as to adjust the distribution of weight and pressure on the shoulders. A big plus of the back system is its individual adjustability based on the height of the user. On the shoulder straps you find several additional loops to attach equipment including a loop for the hydration tube. On the top of the lid the pack also features a sturdy carrying handle. An elastic sternum strap adjustable in height will help you better distribute the carried load. Since this is a small volume pack, there is no need for a too massive waist belt. The Bandit is at least equipped with a thin waist belt, which you can roll up and hide in the designated pockets on the sides of the pack. The back padding is thick enough and enables good air circulation.
