Atsko Silicone Water Guard is a very effective product for ensuring and increasing the water repellency based on silicone polymers (their working occurs during drying of the composition). The patented composition of the product is unique - does not disturb the breathability of the membrane in textile (such as Gore-Tex® , Sympatex® and many others). Compared to competing brands, it has up to 30% higher life and treatment efficiency . A single application is sufficient to ensure the perfect effect, the repeated one is not recommended. The product is tested for all fabrics made of natural and artificial fibers - nylon, polyester, mixed materials, wool, cotton etc. and is also suitable for suede and brushed leather. It even improves the breathability of the treated material, creating a water repellency and after drying remains completely odorless . Color of natural materials changes only minimally (ideally tested first on a little visible place). In addition to water resistance, the treated material also has resistance to the formation of salt spots and maps . Moreover, it restores and replaces silicone hydrophobization of leather footwear applied in production.
Instructions for use Shake well before use. First, perform the so-called point test to see if there is no change of the color (wait until it dries). The surface must be clean and dry. When applying hold the container vertically, the nozzle upwards, 15 to 20 cm from the material and slowly apply until the surface of the material is uniformly moist. Just one single application is optimal. Use the treated product only after complete drying and polymerizing of the applied product.
