The entire "Z" model line has been from the beginning constructed with the emphasis on light weight and very thin profile as well as sturdiness and good grip ergonomics . The Z200 model's construction is based on the Z100 basic series, it features a unique blade design inspired by the famous Ghurka knife. It also features a safety lock and light weight hafts. It is an elegant yet practical knife for every day carry , equipped with a large flipper which turns into a safe guard after opening, just like in the Z100 series. Thanks to its sturdy yet slim construction, low weight and Deep Carry clip is the knife suitable for everyday use . You can choose between the Frame Lock and Liner Lock versions (sold as separate products).
EDC deep in the pocket
When developing the knife, the manufacturer paid attention to examplary open ergonomics facilitating an unrestricted use. This makes the knife fit in every hand. Its modern kukri type blade is made from the first class D2 steel. Kukri has been a traditional weapon as well as symbol of the Nepalese Ghurka warriors for the past 150 years. It is a curved single bevel blade that widens towards the tip. The ANV upgraded this excellent blade to make it look more modern and tough, adding a double tracker grinding , each at different angle, enabling easy cutting as well as fine precision work. The hafts feature a satin anodized Duralumin surface. A Deep Carry clip allows to wear the knife deep inside the pocket, so the only thing visible is the clip hung over the edge of your clothes.
Lubrication
The supply includes a lubricant by SKF , an industry leading company. It is not irritant to skin and fully functional in temperatures ranging from -50 °C to +60 °C.
Warning
All knives come from the factory extremely sharp . Be careful when unpacking and using your knife. There is a risk of injury. If you decide to wear the knife on your neck, make sure you use the ANV safety necklace (sold separately). Never use cords, lines, laces or other (even sturdy) materials. You may get injured when caught on an obstacle. Use only supplied lubricant or other products recommended by ANV for lubrication and maintenance. Keep away from children, store your knife out of their reach .
