Tribute to legends The ANV® M500 Anthropoid fixed blade knife pays tribute to Operation Anthropoid and the Czech-British cooperation in the fight against Nazi occupation. The design of the knife is based on the original shape of the legendary F-S dagger used by the English Commandos and members of the elite SAS.
Silent killer The dagger was designed to allow surprise attacks and silent killing of the enemy. The dagger caused deep, bleeding wounds that were fatal to the victims, and the effectiveness of the wounds prevented the victims from being able to call reinforcements or otherwise give a warning. Thanks to the very narrow center-pointed blade, the dagger easily penetrated even several layers of clothing. For these reasons the dagger was called the "silent killer".
Modern design Acta non verba company has created a modern version of this legendary knife. It combines the classic shape of the F-S dagger and the fulltang construction. The knife is made of one piece of steel, which forms not only the blade but also the knife handle, which is then completed by quality hafts. Thanks to the fact that the entire structure is made of one piece of steel, the knife is extremely durable and almost indestructible.
Top steel protection The knife blade is made of solid ELMAX powdered steel, to which a layer of DLC is added. This ensures high mechanical resistance and minimizes possible blade reflections. In addition, thanks to the DLC treatment, dirt does not adhere to the blade and the blade is protected against corrosion.
Stable grip The handle has a very comfortable grip, which is as safe as possible thanks to the guard. The 3D machined handle is made of G10 material, which makes it very durable and can withstand rough handling and combat conditions. For an even more stable grip, the handle is complemented by jimping, which protects against the knife slipping out of the hand. Therefore the knife handling is very convenient and reliable.
Practical design The butt of the handle has a sharp tip, which you can use to break everything you need. There is also a self-locking sheath that ensures easy and comfortable wearing. The sheath is made of durable kydex and has MOLLE clips, thanks to which you can place it not only on the belt, but also on your tactical vest or other MOLLE compatible equipment. The knife is symmetrical, so you don't have to think about which side to put it in the sheath.
